Foaling & the Newborn

With it being the middle of breeding/foaling season, our vets are starting to see lots of new foals on the ground and we have received multiple calls from clients asking what signs they should be looking for as their mares get ready to foal. Dr. Jessica Van Scyoc decided to write an email newsletter that examines how to recognize the signs of impending foaling and the health of the newborn foal.
